St. Joesph’s is located in Bellwood. The St. Mary’s 2nd Grade has adopted this parish for the 2017-2018 school year. Please come 30 minutes early for practice – any Aquinas or St. Mary’s student can participate If you would be willing to take your child (and your family if you wish) to the parish for any of these performances, please let Jeri or Sarah in the St. Mary’s office, or Claire know so we know how many to expect. Do not feel that you need to attend ALL the performances. You may attend any that work for your family. Thank you for considering support of this activity. Questions? Contact Claire Oborny at 402-367-9405, email: firstname.lastname@example.org or the St. Mary’s School office (Jeri or Sarah) at 367-3669. There are 13 parishes in the David City Deanery who financially support and send students to St. Mary’s and Aquinas Schools. We would like to show our gratitude to them this year in 2 ways. We are participating in an Adopt-A-Parish Program where each grade level communicates with and prays for one of the parishes all year long St. Mary’s is coordinating a Traveling Youth Choir to sing at a Mass in each parish once per year. We will be singing an opening song, Communion song, and a closing song for each parish. Claire Oborny will be leading them at Mass and St. Mary’s students will practice their songs in music class with Mrs. Mimick. Mrs. Zook and her family will attend the Mass and help with the choir at Mass as well.
